FAQs

  • Breathwork

    • Is breathwork safe?

Yes, Conscious Connected Breathing is a powerful and safe way to infuse the body with oxygen and energy, recharging our own (often depleted) systems to work to their healing capacity. If you have any condition related to the heart it may be best to consult your doctor beforehand. We do however have a fully qualified nurse working on our team.
    • Will I be in control during the breathwork?

You can come back to a normal breath at any time, but the aim is to surrender and allow whatever comes up to be released. Sometimes trying to control the process will create a block and limit healing potential. Our advice is to trust and let go.
    • What happens if I get lightheaded during breathwork?

It’s quite common to experience some light-headedness during breathwork, but this is completely safe. There are always facilitators on hand guiding the process, including a registered nurse.
    • Is there any chance of me hyperventilating during breathwork?

We will always be on-hand guiding the sessions. To avoid hyperventilation, you need to make sure the inhale is more active than the exhale. There is a nurse on hand and facilitators holding space to make sure everyone is breathing correctly.
    • I’m new to breathwork. Is there anything I should know before I attend my first session?

Breathwork is a way to reach higher states of consciousness. It's good practice to set your intentions before the session for what it is that you want to both release and bring into your life. Breathwork is different for everyone, so the experience varies between individuals.
    • I’m not a 'spiritual' person. Can I still do breathwork and will it benefit me?

Breathwork is for everyone. You don’t need to have any spiritual beliefs to do breathwork; the power of the breath is something magical and should be experienced by everyone, regardless of background or beliefs.
    • How big are your breathwork groups? How many attendees do you normally have?

We usually have between 5 and 20 people attend, although we've been known to accommodate over fifty people at festivals.
    • What do I need to bring with me on the day?

A bottle of water, and a journal if you wish to document your journey. We do provide yoga mats, pillows, and blankets for our smaller groups, but for larger groups we may request that you bring your own if at all possible.
    • Can I sit out of an activity during the day?

We always encourage you to join in the day's activities. However, if there is something that you would like to sit out that’s perfectly fine; there is no pressure.
  • Health

    • I have a health complication. Do I need to let you know beforehand?

Yes, please always let us know beforehand.
    • Can I do breathwork even if I have asthma or difficulty breathing?

Yes, breathwork can often be beneficial for people with breathing difficulties, helping to improve breathing and quality of life.
    • I’m currently having counselling. Is breathwork compatible with talking therapies?

Yes, breathwork is a powerful tool to combine with talking therapy. It has even been known to catalyse the healing process and enhance the results.
    • I have a dietary requirement. Do I need to let you know beforehand?

If we are providing food and drink, we will always ask for dietary requirements, particularly any allergies.
    • Is it safe to drink alcohol after a ceremony?

We would advise refraining from alcohol for at least 24 hours after a ceremony, especially for anyone attending one of our 'Discover Your True Essence' ceremonies, as the quantum clearing requires abstinence from alcohol or recreational drugs for at least 24 hours after the session.
  • Accessibility

    • Are your venues wheelchair accessible to those who have impaired mobility?
